The Director
Frédéric Sojcher
has made ten short films (among wich Fumeurs du charme,
with Serge Gainsbourg and Bernard Lavilliers, and Vroum
Vroum with Annie Cordy and Michaël Lonsdale), a feature-length
film (Regarde-moi, with Mathieu Carrière, Jean
Paul Comart and Claire Nebout) and a documentary (Cinéastes
à tout prix – Born to film).
He is senior lecturer at the Université de Paris
I - Pantheon – Sorbonne, in practical cinematogrphy.
He has written and adited several books on Belgian and
European cinema. His latest publications are Main basse
sur le film (Editions Séguier,2002) and a collective
work, Quel model audiovisuel européen ? (L’Harmattan,
2003).
dHe is currently President of the Film Directors Association,
in French speaking Belgium. |
